How to create a task?

You can use NeXafe’s task manager to assign tasks to yourself or to other users. 

Open the list of Tasks from the menu bar Click the blue Add button

How to generate an automated tasks to update an evidence that will expire?

You can have a task generated automatically before the due date of a requirement and/or on its due date. The automated generation of a task can be accompanied by a notification if the option is activated (see next section).

Open the Settings sub-menu from the main menu bar  Select Tasks

An automated task will be assigned and sent to the Passport owner whose requirement is due.

  • Flick the first button to the right to generate a task before the due date then specify the number of days before expiration to determine when you want the task created and notification sent..
  • Flick the second button to generate a task and notification on the due date.
  • Select the user who will be displayed as the creator of the task.
  • Click Save.

How to manage task notifications?

When a task is created (manually or automatically), modified or completed, you can opt for these actions to automatically send notifications to the people involved (the one who assigns the task, the one to whom the task is assigned or the person(s) who follow the task). To select your notification options:

Open the Settings sub-menu from the main menu bar  Select Tasks

Any task created to be accessible via the dashboard or directly through the menu. But you can also choose to add notifications throughout the process of processing a task, from its creation to its completion.

  • Email: an email will be sent to the respective users.
  • Bell: the task will appear in the list of warnings which appears by clicking on the bell located in the header when in NeXafe.
  • Click Save.
